Acceptable Use Policy
Effective 28 August 2026
Minnato carries patient information and places telephone calls. Both are heavily regulated, and misuse harms people rather than merely breaching a contract. This policy sets the limits.
1You must not
- Use the Platform to collect patient information without whatever consent or authorisation the law requires.
- Place marketing or solicitation calls through the AI receptionist, or use it for any purpose other than the reception and scheduling of your own patients.
- Use it in a way that breaches telephone consumer protection law, do-not-call rules, or call-recording consent requirements in the jurisdictions you are calling.
- Configure the agent to give medical advice, to diagnose, or to discourage a caller from seeking emergency care.
- Upload malware, attempt to breach the Platform's security, probe or scan it without our written permission, or circumvent rate limits and access controls.
- Reverse engineer the Platform, resell access without a written reseller agreement, or use it to build a competing product.
- Impersonate another organisation, or represent the AI receptionist as a human when a caller asks directly.
2Call recording
Recording consent law varies by jurisdiction, and several US states require every party to consent. You are responsible for the disclosure your agent gives at the start of a call and for confirming it satisfies the law where your callers are. We give you the tools to configure it; we cannot determine your obligations for you.
3Enforcement
Where we believe this policy has been breached we will normally contact you first and give a reasonable chance to put it right. Where a breach threatens patients, the Platform or a third party, we may suspend immediately and tell you straight afterwards. Repeated or deliberate breaches are grounds for termination for cause.
Report suspected misuse to legal@minnato.ai, or a security vulnerability to security@minnato.ai.
